You are allowed to outgrow people who were never growing with you.
That is not abandonment. That is not disloyalty. That is you taking your growth seriously enough to stop shrinking back down to fit where you used to be.
Not every relationship is built to go the distance. Some people are in your life for a season. Honoring that is not cold. It is honest. And honest is always kinder in the long run than performing a connection that no longer fits either of you.
